Sewing Thread
To close or seal up your bags most customers elect to sew them. Colquhoun's offer an extensive range of sewing threads from the 250 gram handheld machine spools, right through to a monster 10kg pedestal machine spool. Various colours are available for identification or contamination purposes. Sewing thread is available direct from our stocks or can be imported based on your requirements.
Stretch Wrap
Once your goods are stacked on to a pallet for either storage or transport it is wise to then stretch wrap the pallet for added security. Stretch wrap provides a barrier from water, dirt & dust which may affect or contaminate your valuable product. It also increases the stability of your load on the pallets. Colquhoun's supply either blown or cast wrap for both machine and handheld applications. Also available are the hand wrapper tools as well as sound advice and contacts for stretch wrapping machinery.
Bag Tying Tools
Don't want to sew your bags closed?? Sewing machines are too expensive?? Why not try this simple alternative. Our bag tying tools are an effective and cheap way of ensuring that once your goods are in the bag that they stay there. Based on a ratchet system, wire ties are placed around the top of the bag and in one swift movement the bag is sealed. Please contact us for more information on this simple product.
Davis Bag Mate
A lot of our customers do not have state of the art bag emptying machinery, so Colquhoun's have sourced a cheap & innovative product to facilitate this often messy procedure. The Davis Bag mate simply attaches to the bottom spout of a bulk bag, and once in place is able to control flow or allow the operator to remove small portions of product from the bag without difficulty. Made from anodised steel the Davis Bag Mate is tough and will last for years. Why spend thousands of dollars on expensive machinery when this simple tool will do the job.
