Colquhoun's import a wide range of hessian bags from army style sand bags through to large chaff bags. Hessian bags can be printed in any of our branch locations with your product descriptions and company details. Colquhoun's hessian bags are 100% natural fibre made from the jute plant. These bags are versatile and have many uses including packaging for Potatoes, meat meals, oysters, mussels, cotton and coffee.

Heavy Duty Jute Sacks

Colquhoun's import a select few jute sacks. You could mistake a jute sack for a hessian bag easily, but when you take a closer look you will find that the jute sack uses a substantially heavier yarn which increases the bag weight & strength, providing a much more robust package. Jute bags are commonly used for the handling of grain, shell fish & potatoes, as well as being found in most pet stores being sold as a dog bed.

Hessian Cloth

Hessian cloth is produced for us in various widths & lengths. From time to time we also stock the heavier jute cloth for specific requirements. Hessian cloth is ideal as a wrapping/protection cloth as well as being used for hoarding or screening. It is also useful for ground stabilisation due to it's biodegradability.
